WEEKLY RACING CLASSES AT FTMS
JUNIOR LATE MODEL
Junior late Model Cars are 9 HP Honda engined 1/4 scale NASCAR car fibreglass body built chasis.
These cars are driven by racers age six and up.
The Mini Truck class offers an alternative option to Junior Late Models for beginners. First time drivers and veterans are welcome in this division.
Each Mini Truck has a 13 horsepower engine and full roll cage. Pro built chasis and fiberglass bodies, 1/4 Scale NASCAR trucks. Ages 12 and up
ROOKIE STOCK/KID STOCK
This Introductory class is geared towards first time racers, as well as kids 14 and under, who are interested in learning about the sport.
The cars are restricted 4 cylinders with limited modifications.
The Fun Stock is an introductory class featuring four cylinder engine cars with limited modifications.
This division is a popular and fun starting point for many racers looking for very competitive racing.
Mini Stocks is an intermediate class with four cylinder engines featuring race modified passenger cars.
The Street Stock class is a popular intermediate class among competitors at FTMS.
This division features full size North American built V8 cars, with mostly stock components, and with a wide range of body styles and extensive modification.
The Thunder Truck division is an introductory class features full-size pickup truck racing.
These trucks components are very minimally modified from stock and all feature V8 engines. Minor modifications are permitted.
The Late Model is a premier class at FTMS.
These cars have powerful custom built V8 engines and purpose built chasis and body. They run on racing slick tires.
Vintage Late Model
The Vintage Late Model is a premier class at FTMS.
These cars run with an 8 cylinder engine and a steel body.
Ontario Pro Sprints
A premier class at Full Throttle Motor Speedway, these cars run on a 440 or 550 snowmobile engines.
This is the fastest class of cars at the speedway.
The Crazy Trains, a favorite attraction for the fans, consists of three vehicles chained together. The lead car, or truck, is a regular race car, while the middle vehicle has steering and the rear vehicle has brakes.
